Your Ceremony
Your Story
Your Way
From our first conversation to the moment you say “I do,” I’ll get to know the two of you, uncover the stories and little details that make your relationship unique, and turn them into a ceremony that feels unmistakably yours.
Whether you want your ceremony to be romantic and heartfelt, full of laughter, or a little bit of both, we’ll create something that reflects you — not tradition, expectations, or a one-size-fits-all script.
Your wedding ceremony should feel like one of the most personal parts of your day — not a script that could belong to anyone.
A few things you might be wondering…
Choosing a celebrant can feel a little unfamiliar, especially if you’ve never been to a symbolic ceremony before. So here are some of the questions couples ask me most often — from how I get to know you to what happens on the day itself.
-
A wedding celebrant creates and leads personalized, symbolic wedding ceremonies. Unlike a registrar or religious official, a celebrant focuses entirely on you and your story—not legal paperwork or a fixed script.
-
As your celebrant, I’ll get to know you through a relaxed online interview. I’ll ask questions about how you met, how your relationship has grown, what you love about each other, the challenges you’ve overcome, and all the funny little stories in between.
I’ll also speak to each of you individually. What you tell me stays between us, so you can share the stories, surprises and feelings you might not want your partner to hear beforehand.
From these conversations, I craft your ceremony and your vows. The more you share, the more personal your ceremony becomes.
I usually spend at least 45 minutes getting to know each couple, but there’s no rush. I want to understand what makes your relationship yours.
-
Whatever feels meaningful to you. Some couples include poems or songs; others invite their maid of honor, best man, family members or friends to speak. You can include readings, music, rituals, personal traditions—or anything else that feels like you.
There are no fixed rules. Your ceremony should be uniquely yours.
-
Absolutely. I can write your vows for you. My vows tend to be playful and funny, and definitely not traditional.
I draw inspiration from your individual interviews, which I encourage you to keep secret from each other so that the vows remain a surprise.
And if public speaking isn't your thing, don't worry—you don't have to write or say anything complicated. “I do” is perfectly acceptable.
Of course, if you'd rather write your own vows, I’ll help you make them feel personal and authentic.
-
I’ll guide you through your ceremony from beginning to end, making sure everything flows naturally and you can simply be present in the moment. If you’ve written your own vows, I’ll keep them safe until the moment you’re ready to read them. I’ll introduce readings, music and other speakers, guide you through your vows, and make sure you know what’s happening every step of the way. And yes—I’ll have tissues ready, just in case!

I’d love to hear your story.
Your love story is unlike anyone else’s — and your ceremony should be too.
If you’re dreaming of a ceremony that feels personal, meaningful, and completely you, I’d love to hear about the two of you, how you met, and what makes your story yours.
